Soap Opera Handmade Soaps I am starting small and growing until my confort zone is full. I make bar soap. I don't get into bath bombs, lotions, lip balms and such-- I just make soap.

Using olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter, my bars will leave you feeling clean, but like you've got light lotion on. I feature many different fragrances, usually around 70, rotating them so you won't get bored. I make a mechanics soap with cornmeal and pumice for scrubbiness, an odor remover that's great for kitchen odors and for taking fish smell off of your hands. It has coffee and coffee gr

ounds in it as well as natural anise oil to help get rid of stinky stuff. I also make soap with oatmeal for uber sensitive skin; one unscented, one lavender scented and one with Tea Tree oil.

The shelves are starting to refill after the Christmas rush. So many yummy new fragrances on the way. Too bad they take 3 weeks to cure. New fragrances available at the Home Show February 27- March 1st at the fair grounds. Come by and check them out.

For all the people who have seen the light as far as the benefits of Oatmeal Tea Tree soap, I apologize for being out of stock every time I turn around! I finally found a source for the tea tree oil in larger quantities (think quarts instead of one ounce at a time) and will be making it 50 bars at a time from now on. People use it to relieve the itch of eczema, psoriasis, athletes foot, settle acne down, rid kids of head lice, and many more things! It's a great all natural way to take care of things.

Christmas Time's A'Comin", Christmas Time's A'Comin"! Just poured "Jack Frost", a nice pepperminty, greenery fragrance, so I'm in the mood! This year I'll have a fancied up bar of holiday scented soap on a wooden soap rack, tied up all pretty, for $7.50. Great hostess gift, teacher appreciation gift, girlfriend gift-- what else can you buy for $7.50 that's made in America, requires no batteries, one size fits all, and you can actually use it!?

Just cut 130 bars of soap this morning! Banana Nut Bread is nom-nom-nom! Cranberry Citrus is gonna be very popular, as is Celestial Waters. My personal fave: Sweetgrass, but Red Clove is growing on me, and Dark Chocolate Almond is not only beautiful, it smells like a candy bar... These will all be ready on August 21. Lookingglass Farm Market every Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., Canyonville Ace Hardware and Oregon Sunshine Coffee Shop (both in Canyonville) everyday! Or call me and we can talk delivery! Just poured: Hunny Bunny (smells like clean little kids in their jammies) Politically Correct (just go with this one, folks, you'll like it!) good old Naked Oatmeal, Apple Cinnamon Berry, Cornucopia, Oakmoss, and the ever popular and refreshing Peppermint! All ready mid August, then it's time to start pouring for the holidays!

Lookingglass Farmers Market is OUTSIDE enjoying the summer! I'm taking a bunch of new fragrances today, including BEER and BACON! Also Mango Beachwood, Green Apple, Vanilla Cotton, Aromatherapy (which is divine) Sweet Orange Chili Pepper, Dave's Fave (tart lime with a touch of coconut), Margarita, and OATMEAL TEA TREE, which I've been out of! Tootie is at the market through the summer, so come get your big bad bird fix and smell the new soap!
