If you missed my last post, I have been lucky enough to make top 3 out of 44 nominations for Entrepreneur of the year for my business Mixed & Muddled - Traveling Bar & Service. What an honor, truly. 🥹

When I started this business I had no idea I would find out I was pregnant, just a month after I decided to take off running with this business. But that didn’t stop me. I grew a child as I grew my business, & even went into labor at one of my events (don’t worry I was prepared for this and no events were negatively impacted by this occurring 😂).
Fast forward to this past year, learning how to navigate motherhood and grow a business at the same time was a whole new challenge no one could’ve prepared me or my family for… but I accepted that challenge yet again.
Here is what we accomplished this year:
• Our bartending team has grown from 3 bartenders at the start of 2026, to going into 2027 season with 7 team members!
• Over doubling our business from 2025 season (our first year)
• Joining 3 community groups such as Skagit Wedding Guild, Stanwood Commerce, and Camano Island Commerce
• Participated in multiple venue open houses, styled content shoots with fellow industry small businesses, and so much more.
& the biggest update yet, and first announcement of such…
• WE ARE GETTING AN OFFICE LOCATION
We will have a store front in Stanwood off the old brick road, and we cannot wait to be more present within our community & have a place where we can meet you face to face.
Whether we win this award or not, I am so proud of myself, but mostly my team, and my family. I couldn’t do any of this without them & their support in this CRAZY life. I still have imposter syndrome 90% of the time, cuz how did I get so lucky to live this life?!?
Anyways, that’s our story! We cannot wait to continue to play a part in your special days, celebrations, and memories.
