💛 Remembering Bill Markgraff on December 18 💛
This December 18 would have been Bill’s birthday, and we want to take a moment to honor a man who meant so much to so many in our community.
Bill, or as many of us knew him, Billy Boy, had a smile that could light up the room and a heart big enough for everyone he met. He wasn’t just a regular; he was family. Nearly every day, he’d come into Liberty Lanes with that same smile and order one of his go-to meals: a Liberty Wrap with jalapeños and sweet potato fries, or a Philly Cheesesteak with jalapeños and sweet potato fries, always paired with a pint of his favorite Bodhizafa IPA.
On his birthday, we’ll be offering both of his favorite meals as a tribute special for $15 each, including the beer.
This isn’t about a promotion; it’s simply our way of sharing what he loved and giving friends and neighbors a chance to remember him together.
We realize this post comes close to the date, and we apologize for the short notice. We wanted to first speak with his partner to make sure this tribute felt right to share, given the tragic circumstances. We deeply appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.
Whether you stop in for the special, share a story, or raise a glass somewhere else, we hope everyone takes a moment that day to think of him.
