There has been some messaging circulating in the Boise event community that suggests one mobile bar service is the only company “in good standing with Idaho State Police” or the only one with “connections” to legally serve alcohol.
We want to clarify something important for clients planning events.
There are multiple mobile bartending services in Idaho that operate legally and in good standing with the state. Responsible bar services either hold their own license/permit or operate under a properly licensed business while carrying the appropriate insurance and certifications.
Using fear-based messaging to suggest that clients must hire one specific company to stay compliant simply isn’t accurate.
When hiring a bar service, the best thing you can do is ask:
• Who holds the alcohol license?
• Is the company insured?
• Are the bartenders properly trained and compliant with Idaho regulations?
Transparency matters in this industry, and clients deserve clear, honest information when planning their events.
