Lift for the cause: 1 million Pounds to fight breast cancer We want to lift 1,000,000 pounds to fight breast cancer! We would be using the 3 core lifts squat, bench and deadlift. etc.) Rules:

There will be a collective of nine designated lifters who will get pledges for the total amount of weight(volume e.g. 200lbs lifted 10 times is 2,000lbs). The tenth lifter will be called a guest, these people pay $20 to participate and add to out total volume. Thank you once again and hope to hear from you soon. Rules and How it Works!

• There will be a minimum of nine participants (ranging from

football players, gymnast,, soccer moms and bodybuilders. Each key participant will get a minimum of 10 pledges/sponsors.
• They will have to account for a minimum of 100,000male/50,000female pounds each for key participants.
• For the non-key participants who donate for participation they just have to pay a $20 fee that will be used for donations.
• The tenth (guest) lifter will be a collective of people who want to contribute to the total volume. They will receive 10 sets.
• The amount of weight is broken down by each exercise number of reps and weights i.e. Bench Press 5x10 at 200lbs equals 10,000lbs lifted. (athlete will choose 3 specific lifts i.e. Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift)
• Pledges will pay for every 10,000lbs lifted.
• So if someone pledges 5 dollars and the a participants lifts 100,000 lbs then the pledge pays $50. There will be a minimum of nine participants who will be knowledgable and technically sound in specified lifts. The tenth (guest) lifter will be a collective of people who want to contribute to the total volume. They will receive 10 sets.
2. The participants will use the following three lifts: Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift.
3. Each completed lift will meet the following specifications:
a. Squat: Participant will reach a depth of at least 90 degrees at the hips before completing the lift. Bench: Participant will lower bar to chest (no bouncing) before extending arms upward fully locked out. Deadlift: Participant starts with bar on the ground, then lift without hitching, at the top of the lift the participant will then lower the bar to the ground before the next repetition (no dropping the bar).
4. Spotters will be used for the squat and bench press.
5. Participants can lift at their own pace.
6. Total lift session shall last 6 hours and if a participant reaches 100,000 pounds before 6 hours a running clock of 30 minutes will be set to finish their session.
