Y'all are drinking "12 beers of Christmas" and I'm wondering what do you drink after day 4?

I recall a time in beer when I traded Nugget Nectar for Pliny.

What was your favorite beer of 2017? Favorite brewery? General beer memories?

The beers that really impressed me this year are from Aslin Beer Company. Haven't had many, but all were 5 out of 5.

While in Chicago, Half Acre Beer Company was the s**t. Loved everything about it.

On a work trip to Lexington Kentucky, a brewery named Ethereal Brewing really impressed me.

MD is really firing on all cylinders. Way too many great beers to name this year.

For 2018, I'm really looking forward to the opening of Sapwood Cellars. Michael Tonsmeire (oldstock online) has helped me online with my own homebrewing project, Breadhead Brewing Company.

What fruit would you like best in a brett saison?

Bummed to see no MD representation in the list of GABF medalists.

DuClaw Brewing Co. and JD's Smokehouse - North / JD's Smokehouse - Canton have announced a homebrew competition. They are selecting one winner which could be brewed at DuClaw to serve at JD's. The twist is they are judging to BJCP style guidelines.

I'm thinking about brewing and entering.

What BJCP style would you see winning? Or, would you go a little more wild and enter under Specialty Beer?
