Great news is on the way

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying the beginning of boating season! We just wanted to send out a quick note to keep everyone in the loop. Unfortunately, at this point, we are unsure of our future at Frank and Dick's, considering the enormous amount of damage. We have been getting a lot of phone calls, messages, etc. - so we wanted to make sure everyone was aware. As soon as we have any news, we will be sure to post.

We understand that everyone misses it (believe us, we do too), but please do not go to Frank and Dick's and tie up to the dock/walk around etc. It is VERY unsafe there. We have put up "No Trespassing" signs to remind people that it is private property and the SCPD as well as other agencies have been monitoring the area, but we wanted to make sure to spread the word. At any moment something could give and you could get hurt. Most of the decking is not secured to the pilings like it used to be. Keep in mind that Frank and Dick's is mostly built on bulkhead which was damaged and has shifted since the storm. In addition, we lost most of the contents of our store when the wall blew off as well as most of our picnic tables and other items. We have no idea where the debris went, which is another reason to keep your boats clear of the area. Thanks in advance for your consideration, and please pass the word around :)

We are selling the gas in 5 gallon gas cans because we have no way to measure how much is being pumped. You can either fill your own can or we can pour it into a tank for you. Any questions call 6315878442

Hi everyone,

We hope that you are all safe and dry now and hopefully with power and heat. It's been quite a week and we know how hard it has been for everyone in the community. We've heard from many of you and appreciate your well wishes and wish you well too as you rebuild and hopefully return to some sort of normalcy.

Frank and Dick's sustained a lot of damage. (I will be adding pictures shortly.) We were clearly in Sandy's path of destruction and she did not spare much of us. We are currently working on setting up a gas pump system so we can sell fuel after 12 noon today, considering the crazy lines, etc that we have been encountering everywhere - hopefully we can help alleviate this pressure. Call 631-587-8442 before heading out to confirm that it is ready and we cannot accept any credit cards as our entire computer system left with Sandy. We will be open Mon-Sun 9am-4pm weather permitting.

As we figure out what the future is for Frank and Dick's, we will definitely keep everyone posted. We wish you and your families all the best. If there's anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask.
