Back in 1904, a saloon wasn’t just a place to drink — it was where folks gathered for real food, strong drinks, and honest company. No shortcuts. No white trucks delivering frozen food. Just fresh ingredients and recipes made the right way.

That spirit is still alive at the Ugly Pony Saloon.

Inside our historic saloon in Ault, we’re doing things a little different than most spots you’ll find around Colorado. Our kitchen is scratch-built and made to order, serving up elevated bar food that actually tastes like the real thing — because it is.

Hand-prepped ingredients. Big flavor. Food cooked when you order it, not reheated from a bag. It’s not the usual bar food you’ll find around here…
and that’s exactly why folks say we’re the best destination in NoCo for elevated bar food.
