Happy Father's Day!

This guy..my dad! He is GOALS. As a little lady growing up, I wanted to be just like him. His work ethic, social nature, humor, sense of community and the deep love & value placed on family over all else. He continues to make me proud and is STILL working like his a young man. Haha, he isn't but you would never know it. If you know him, you know exactly what I mean. If you don't and you know me, I'd like to think I'm a reflection of him. Today’s Lyght House Cocktails is inspired by our founder Carmaleita Willis Lyght’s dad, Mr. “Joe Willis.” (Pictured left next to his dad and brother Charlie serve at a weekly buffet)

Joeseph Willis started his career in the service industry in the late 1950s as a young boy. He worked his way up to maitre d’ and manager at the first Green Jacket and made a name for himself around Augusta as a quality chef and bartender. His bartending became so popular throughout the years that he decided to focus on it full time. Over the years, his bartending business was top pick for some of the city’s most prestigious events and occasions. Joe’s work ethic and passion for quality service inspired his daughter and our founder to create Lyght House Cocktails to continue the family legacy.

Let's talk about blessings in business.

As I look back, I can confidently say while it's still been challenging, it has been a pretty good year for my business. 🤗
And for that, I have my exceptionally graceful and loyal clients to thank.
Creating meaningful and worthwhile experiences for our clients is a passion of mine and I consider it a blessing to be able to do it!
One special moment that stood out to me this year was celebrating our very own Atlanta Braves, . Seeing them enter the World Series and bring home the Champion title is something we have all long, patiently awaited.
