Effortless Elegance: 3 Simple Spring Cocktails

Spring events are all about fresh flavors and vibrant energy. As an event host, you want cocktails that are delicious, crowd-pleasing, and won't keep you tied to the shaker all night. Here are three easy-to-execute drinks that perfectly capture the spirit of spring:

Cocktail #1: Sweet & Fruity – Strawberry Basil Smash

Ingredients:

2 oz gin or vodka
4-5 fresh strawberries
4-5 fresh basil leaves
0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
Soda water for topping
Instructions:

Muddle strawberries and basil in a shaker.
Add remaining ingredients (except soda) and ice. Shake.
Strain over fresh ice into a tall glass. Top with soda and garnish with a strawberry.

Cocktail #2: Whiskey Based – The Peachy Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
0.5 oz peach liqueur or peach simple syrup
2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
Orange peel for garnish
Instructions:

Combine whiskey, peach liqueur/syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Express orange peel over the drink and use as a garnish.

Cocktail #3: Tequila Twist – The Sparkling Paloma

Ingredients:

2 oz blanco tequila
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz agave nectar (or to taste)
Grapefruit soda to top
Salt for ri***ng the glass (optional)
Instructions:

Combine tequila, juices, and agave in a shaker with ice. Shake briefly.
Strain over fresh ice into a salt-rimmed glass (optional). Top with grapefruit soda and a lime wedge.
