I’m really grateful to have graduated with my second master’s from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work this Monday. 🎓❤️
I’m especially thankful for the warmth and sense of community Wurzweiler created, and for my professors, supervisors, classmates, mentors, and everyone who contributed to my growth throughout this journey.
I came into this program wanting to create micro change and am leaving with a much deeper understanding that macro change is equally, if not even more, important. I’m excited to become more involved in systemic change, especially around creating greater accountability within inpatient psychiatric settings, improving funding and incentives for providers with specialized training, and shifting systems from containment toward meaningful care, healing, and measurable outcomes for underserved populations.
I’m also grateful for my internship experience and the opportunity to work one on one with clients, deepen my understanding of trauma informed care, and support healing, empowerment, and growth.
This MSW adds another meaningful layer to my background in education, behavior analysis, and hypnosis, and I’m excited to see where the future leads and for the initiatives I’m beginning to build.
Feeling grateful, proud, and excited for what’s ahead. ❤️🎓
