Adding daggers, fluted handles, and wood core scabbards to my resume 😎

This is my take on a rondel dagger.

Dagger is forged from 1080 high carbon steel with mild steel guard and pommel and black G10 handle and spacers.

Blade is 12" long, and the knife is 17.5" overall. Blade is .275" thick at the ricasso and 1.25" wide.

Scabbard is carved poplar and balsa with dark plum merino wool liner and is wrapped and hand stitched by Rocco at Treeman Leather Shop

Big knifes R kool!

This thing is so fun to swing around!

Custom kukri forged from 1080 high carbon steel.
12" blade, 17.75" overall length, .2" thick spine in front of the handle, 2.2" tall at the heel. Full tang heirloomed fot handle sculpted from ironwood burl and burgundy micarta.

I got to spend this weekend at Michigan Shooting Centers Bald Mountain Shooting Range for their annual Orion Sporting Weekend promoting my business to local outdoor enthusiasts!

I met so many super cool people and saw several demonstrations throughout the weekend!

As usual, I was too distracted to take any of my own photos, so thank you to Christianes exotic parrotdise for snapping a photo with me!

Catch me there again next year for sure!

What an incredible trip to New England School of Metalwork for their 2026 Bladesmithing Symposium! I was lucky enough to compete in their Battle of the Bladesmiths and compete against some super cool and talented dudes! I came in with the goal of redemption from losing the last time I competed, and I accomplished my mission! Thank you so much to my fellow competitors and new friends Peter Sankel Ethan Rice and Silas Blacklow as well as the fellas who had the difficult task of judging the knives Emiliano Rob Wayman Knives and Salem Straub. And a special thank you to my wonderful wife Jenna Joy Hemker for being my biggest cheerleader!

I got to spend my last weekend as a full-time bladesmith molding 3 new minds! We had a ton of fun and made some sweet knives!

Man, I'm do love a pure blacksmithing project every now and then. It's like working out a muscle you haven't used in a while.

I got a request for a nice long fire poker, so I figured why not make two!

So I do have one of these available for $150.
It is a few inches short of 5', mild steel, blackened linseed oil finish.
