The weather is awful today so I know it will be difficult for folks to drive to get food. But here's the deal; Colin Smay, Julia Willette, and myself (Chad Watkins) made this absurdly good brisket, pork loin, and Beef ends today. They won't be nearly as good tomorrow so you need to eat it today. Text me 309-370-1187, email [email protected] or respond to this post and tell me which meal you'd like and I'll deliver it.

Our purpose as a restaurant is to make good food and feed it to you (one of the more basic human needs). Please let me do this for you today.

A farewell to the Wheeler location with the last shift team! We had a proper send off for sure. Our team looks forward to seeing you at Battlecry on Welch Ave EVERY DAY for lunch and dinner!

As we begin our final week at wheeler (and transition to just Campustown) we will be trying to empty our remaining inventory so the menu may change day to day.

Today's menu:
Apps (BBQ nachos, wonton cheese sticks)
Kid's menu (grilled cheese, hot dog, slider)
Burgers* (classic, smoked BBQ maple, lamb, . and veggie)
Entrees (ribs, beef burnt ends, smoked meats)
Steaks (10oz and 16oz ribeye)
Smoker (pork loin, pulled pork, pulled chicken)
Sides (regular fries, root veg fries, potato . salad, slaw, mac & cheese, cornbread)
Desserts (cheesecake, buttermilk pie, sweet potato pie)

*Today is burger Monday which means $5 burgers for all of our burgers! Get the lamb burger and veggie burger while they still last.

All of us at Battlecry wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays! So that our team can spend time with their family and friends we will be closed today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) at both stores. We will open again for normal hours on Monday in both Campustown and on North Grand.

Last chance for the Battlecry Lamb Burger! When the North Grand location closes they are gone with it. A truly unique food experience in Ames and one we are very proud of. We will miss it. So come for one today! Open until 10:00 today!

Beer at Battlecry is now $3! Which beer? ALL the beers. Except Coors and Coors Light...which are only $2! When they are gone, they are gone. Until then this is the cheapest good beer you will find in Ames!
