Annual festival with music, local beer/wine, family friendly skate workshops/contests to keep SK8 Nelson insured, maintained & improved for years to come.

The mission of “SK8 Nelson” is to provide ongoing financial support to Rockfish Valley Community Center to help defray the annual liability insurance expense that the Center incurs due to the existence of the skate park on the property, and to help maintain and upgrade the skate park for the benefit of the community. This support is generated through our annual “SK8 Nelson” outdoor event proceed

Right now, the forecast is holding steady with only a 24% chance of rain — so things are looking good for SK8 Nelson!

BUT, we like to be prepared. If the weather takes a turn, we may shift gears a bit. The live music will still go on and vendors (we can move it indoors), and we’ll cross our fingers for a break in the rain so folks can still hit the ramps.

Rain or shine, it’s going to be a great day for community, music, and fun!
