🌟🥂 Grand opening on Friday! 🍾🥳

We are proud and delighted to announce that Kwai Masai shop & Bar will reopen its doors on Friday 20th of March!

As our Muslim friends will celebrate the end of the Ramadhan at the end of this week, we decided to join both events to organise a little party.

So come anytime from 4 PM, be one of our first clients, buy a drink, and get free food, we offer the maasai barbecue and chips 🍟 😋

Karibu sana, welcome, and above all, ahsanteni, thank you all for your support during these past months. 🥰

Everything started in 2019, when Ibra bought a container and placed it at the bottom of our land to create a small shop and bar. He wanted this to be an occupation when he would not be busy with our guests...but the later never happened!

So we quickly decided to hand it to Ibra's family. All benefits help them provide for their living and the maasai village's life, there's nothing related to our guest house , even though we are located just above. Of course, together with local inhabitants, our guests can thoroughly enjoy going there for a drink, a game at the pooltable, a football match on TV or a quick shopping, for anything they don't want to get down to town for.

We are proud to have seen how, over these past years, our maasai community thrived and developed the place so well, and how it successfully supported them in their daily lives.

The shop and bar rapidly became a high meeting spot for both locals and our guest's house visitors. It's even been naturally given a name by everyone here: Kwa Masai, that we love and keep! 🫶🏽

Unfortunately, the whole place burnt in August of this year and there was nothing left. 🔥
No time to let go, we decided to spend all of our savings and works started straight away to get this place back to work, nicer, better !
We also set up a pot for anyone who would be willing to support us financially. 🙏🏽
