กลุ่มบริษัท สยาม ไวเนอรี่ มุ่งมั่นที่ดำเนินการตามนโยบายในการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนและร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการลดโลกร้อนและลดการปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ออกสู่ชั้นบรรยากาศ โดยมีโครงการปลูกต้นไม้เพิ่มอีก 250 ต้นในพื้นที่ของโรงงานที่เหลืออีก 1.3 ไร่ ในระยะที่ 2 ภายในปลายปี 2567 นี้
เมื่อวันที่ 6 มิถุนายน 2567 ที่ผ่านมา มร. คริสโตเฟอร์ พอล คาร์เตอร์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ปฏิบัติการ กลุ่มบริษัท สยาม ไวเนอรี่ ได้เป็นประธานเปิดการจัดกิจกรรมปลูกป่าเนื่องในวันสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก ประจำปี 2567 ในโครงการ "สยามไวน์ปลูกป่า เพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน" ณ บริษัท สยาม ไวเนอรี่ จำกัด อ.บางโทรัด จ.สมุทรสาคร
โดยมีหน่วนงานราชการ ภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน ผู้นำชุมชนของ ต.บางโทรัด กลุ่มบริษัทคู่ค้า และทีมผู้บริหาร พนักงานบริษัท สยาม ไวเนอรี่ จำกัด เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมปลูกป่าภายในพื้นที่เริ่มต้นโครงการของโรงงานจำนวน 1 ไร่ และได้ปลูกต้นกระถินเทพาทั้งหมดจำนวน 170 ต้น ซึ่งไม้ที่โตไว เหมาะกับสภาพดินและทนทานต่อสภาพภูมิอากาศในพื้นที่ดังกล่าวได้เป็นอย่างดี
ตลอดโครงการปลูกป่าที่จะเกิดขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี 2567 – 2570 ทางกลุ่มบริษัท สยาม ไวเนอรี่ มุ่งมั่นที่จะปลูกต้นไม้ภายในพื้นที่ทั้งหมด 29 ไร่ ซึ่งสามารถช่วยลดก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ได้ทั้งหมด 150 ตันคาร์บอน ภายในปี 2573
Siam Winery Group is committed to implement sustainable actions in our efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. As part of this commitment, the company plans to plant an additional 250 trees on the remaining 1.3 rai of our factory area by the end of 2024.
On June 6, 2024, Mr. Christopher Paul Carter, Chief Operating Officer of Siam Winery Group, presided over the tree planting activity in celebration of World Environment Day 2024 under the project "Siam Winery Reforesting for Sustainable Development" at Siam Winery Co., Ltd., Bang Thorat, Samut Sakhon Province.
Government agencies, public sectors, private sectors, and community leaders of Bang Thorat Subdistrict, along with partner companies, and the management team and employees of Siam Winery Co., Ltd. participated in the tree planting activity within the project's initial 1 rai factory area. A total of 170 white Acacia mangium were planted, as they grow quickly, are suitable for the soil conditions, and are highly resistant to the climate of the area.
Throughout the reforestation project from 2024 to 2027, Siam Winery Group is committed to planting trees over a total area of 29 rai, which is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by a total of 150 tons of carbon by 2030.
