For every hello, there is a goodbye. Over the last 8 years, we’ve sent out countless cases of wine, watched the neighbourhood grow and change, and most importantly welcomed so many of you through the doors.

Toast to the Coast Bundle (Pack of 4)

Like all great winegrowers, Ehren Jordan’s commitment and craft comes through most clearly with his ‘basic’ range. Quilting together the various terroirs he has access to, Ehren’s Chardonnay and Pinot Noir easily transcend the Sonoma Coast region without ever losing a sense of place.

The details are what makes this more than just another Californian Chardonnay – a saline Pacific top note, the subtle thrust of acidity from slow ripening, and layer upon layer of texture (from selective aging in concrete ‘eggs’). Croque monsieur, or (oh yes!) a fresh begedil.

Already appealing and complex, but with so much more to give, Ehren’s deftly incorporated the softer tannins of the 2019 vintage without sacrificing ageing potential. We really, really like this with Pacific salmon as well as roast chicken.
