For two nights only, Close Shave will present a boundary-pushing event of fusion cocktails!

Close Shave x Shede: East Meets West celebrates the era of Shanghai Jazz, a period in the 1930s where Chinese folk music met the Golden period of jazz, for a truly unforgettable cultural phenomenon.

On 21 and 22 August, from 6pm till late, Close Shave will celebrate the meeting of two cultures - fusing Chinese spirits with Western ingredients.

Each night, our guest bartender will present a limited flight of twin cocktails with the help of Close Shave head bartender - swipe right for deets.

21 Aug: Akanoya’s Martin brings his inimitable touch to two cocktails inspired by summer flavors.

22 Aug: Mixologist Dylan Symons presents two cocktails created with .sg to Close Shave.

Like the 1930s, this night promises to be filled with memories and highlights you won’t forget.

Happy 59 wonderful years, Singapore!

We are open today, 9th August, if you want to stop by and try our special National Day flight of three cocktails.

For 10th August however, we are booked out for a private event and will be closed to the public.

Come on down and enjoy the celebrations of the city by the river!

It’s the month of August - and that can only mean one thing!

It’s time to celebrate all things SINGAPORE.

Close Shave presents: The Singaporean Shave, a limited-edition flight of three delicious cocktails just for the month of August!

Created by our head bartender , each drink features flavors that are uniquely Singaporean and which call to mind a sunny, tropical island that is a melting pot of the world’s cultures.

HAPPY 59TH

Celebrating the nation’s birthday, this concoction of rum, cacao liqueur and coconut cream evokes island living in the very beginning of Singapore’s foundation.

WE ARE ONE

This stiff drink celebrates diversity, with a mix of gin and Campari topped off with kaffir syrup for a spiced kick.

MAJULAH

The concept of this drink stems from the nation’s flag - red and white. A red wine reduction brings the maroon, and a blend of whiskey and lemon juice brings the light, for an unforgettable taste.

All drinks at $22 nett.

Monday, 22nd July - we’re bringing guest DJ AVERY to Close Shave for a disco party unlike any other! If you’ve been to our Close Shave x TCO parties, you know they’re wild. This time, DJ Avery is taking us on a trip back in time with the funkiest hits from 2012-2018!

✨ 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝 ✨

As the weekend rolls around, it’s with a heavy heart that the Close Shave team must announce that 24th August 2024, Saturday, is our last day of operations at 13 North Canal Road (along with the Sultans of Shave outlet).

The landlord has raised rent by 30% and as such, it is no longer tenable for our best-kept secret to be tucked away behind mirrored doors.

But what a wonderful 9 months we have had welcoming friends into our little hideaway from the bustle of the city, partying and singing along and talking about the things you never would in any other bar! That is, indeed, the spirit of Close Shave and we are happy to have shared it with you.

A big shoutout to our fantastic team and .sg who have been nothing short of innovative, gracious and professional.

For the month of August, get ready for some special events and guest shifts to celebrate Close Shave… including our final bash: The Final Shave!
