“What do you do all day?”
I love when people ask me what I do during my days now, automatically assuming I have so much free time because I don’t work a full time corporate job anymore.
I will be honest, I still drank wine at 4pm on long days before, so that hasn’t changed!
But in all seriousness, I work just as much now as I did when I had a full time job.
The main difference is 1. I am not getting paid a salary anymore (big difference) and
2. Now I do more of what I want (I was still doing a lot of this before too, because I was good at time management)
Believe it or not: It’s actually harder now because I have more freedom!
My main focus right now is on mastering surface pattern design. This week is going to be super crucial in my learning and development as I bring my concept to life. (Part of my concept has to do with hot air balloons so you will see more of that soon!) I plan to share as much of the process as possible, so stick around!

I just want more of this 💜
Color, painting, sunshine, things that light me up.
It’s simple and sometimes I make it too complicated.
Reviving this account brings me all of those things and I am creating this post as that reminder to myself.
I hope you chase all of the things that light you up!
