Yesterday, I visited the city of Valongo, located on the outskirts of Porto, Portugal. During my visit, I had the opportunity to capture a series of portraits of participants involved in one of the city's most cherished annual traditions.
Known as the Regueifas Festival, this cultural celebration brings together local heritage, community spirit, and generations of tradition. Through these portraits, I aimed to document not only the people behind the event but also the character and authenticity that make this festival such an important part of Valongo's identity.
