Siyam na panukalang batas na naglalayong ideklarang tourism at ecotourism destinations ang iba’t ibang lugar sa Romblon ang inaprubahan sa ikatlo at pinal na pagbasa sa House of Representatives of the Philippines noong Mayo 5.

Ayon kay Congressman Eleandro Jesus F. Madrona, naipadala na rin sa Senate of the Philippines ang mga panukala noong Mayo 6 para sa kaukulang aksyon.

Kabilang sa mga aprubadong panukala ang House Bill No. 1663 na naglalayong itatag ang Battle of the Sibuyan Sea Memorial Shrine sa Cajidiocan at ideklara itong tourism destination.

Inaprubahan din ang House Bill No. 1664 para ideklarang ecotourism destination ang Binucot Beach sa Barangay Bunsoran, Ferrol.

Kabilang din sa mga panukalang naaprubahan ang deklarasyon sa Colong-Colong Beach at Payayasog Beach sa Corcuera bilang tourism destinations sa ilalim ng House Bills No. 1665 at 1668.

Inaprubahan din ang House Bill No. 1669 na naglalayong ideklarang tourism site ang Ruins of Cotta de San Jose sa Corcuera, habang tourism site naman ang S**i it Elepante Rock Formation sa Barangay Labnig sa ilalim ng House Bill No. 1672.

Samantala, inaprubahan din ang House Bill No. 1666 na nagdedeklara sa San Jose o Isla de Carabao bilang tourism destination, gayundin ang House Bill No. 1667 para ideklarang ecotourism destination ang Looc Bay Area sa Looc.

Kasama rin sa mga aprubadong panukala ang House Bill No. 2928 na naglalayong ideklara ang San Fernando bilang tourism development area.
