This specimen from Mindanao had quite a journey: harvested in Lantapan, Bukidnon, displayed and sold at the Kaamulan Festival in Malaybalay then flew to Manila. Good thing it stayed viable, good enough to be used as planting material. This will be an interesting addition to our Cacao gene pool at the farm!

This is from our sector just beside the rice paddies. Among our Cacao farm sectors, this bunch receives consistent water source being near an irrigation canal which might be a reason why the trees in this sector have pretty much consistent fruiting season than any of our Cacao sectors.

The color palette of Cacao pods is really mesmerizing, with its unique blend of deep browns, rich reds, and vibrant yellows. It's no wonder that these pods are often referred to as nature's candy, not just for their delicious pulp, but also for their stunning visual appeal.
