In celebration of Pinot Noir Day, we’re excited to showcase a standout selection: the 2013 Prima Donna Pinot Noir from Pegasus Bay.

This w**e boasts a rich ruby colour, with aromas and flavours reminiscent of black cherries, purple plums, and wild blackberries.

These notes are complemented by a savoury element, hinting at roasted game, char-grilled mushrooms, black olive tapenade, and finishing with the lingering essence of chocolate mocha and spice.

This vintage cellars well and evolves gracefully.

We'll be serving it both by the glass and bottle from the 18th, come and join us.

Mark your calendars for next Tuesday the 18th as we celebrate Pinot Noir Day.

We will be uncorking select bottles from our collection that are sure to please.

While the first vines of Pinot Noir were established in the Wairarapa region of New Zealand's North Island in 1883, it wasn't until the late 1980s that this grape variety gained significant traction.

Awards began pouring in from local w**e competitions, and by the 1990s, the variety started to gain international attention. Gold medals were secured in Australia and London, sparking conversation about the emergence of a new Pinot powerhouse on the world stage.

Admired by collectors and sommeliers alike, Pinot Noir represents elegance, versatility, and the subtle interplay between nature and craftsmanship.

So join us for a tipple, we'll be pouring all week long.
