Emergence II is just around the corner, and once again, we are excited to offer a platform for one emerging artist to play. There are so many excellent artists flying under the radar and sometimes all we need as we venture into something new is a bit of trust.

And boy do we trust our emerging artist this year! Allow us to introduce…. Painter 🎨🎶💥

Hailing from the depths of Cornwall, Painter is known for his love and dedication to large-scale burnable art. And a desire to follow a new passion has led him to begin decorating time over space.

A lifelong drummer, his deep-rooted grasp of rhythm solidified a burning desire to get behind the decks.

While Painter has an innate affinity for all things bass, curiosity keeps him exploring a wide host of electronic genres, breaking them apart and finding ways to bring the freshest and most exciting sounds to the table.

You could find him blending anything from a variety of house, melodic techno, downtempo, and electronica through to UK-centric sounds like UKG, breakbeat, and 140 dubstep, along with a few unexpected twists.

We are thrilled to welcome Painter to TRIBE and CAN’T WAIT to hear what he’s been cooking up for us!!! 😍

Love these memories from interlude last month! What a lush time. And how good were all the artists?! Keep an eye out for their sets being released soon. 🔥

Big love and thanks to FanCast Productions for this footage 🫶🏼👏

Annnnnnnd…..

We have news! We have just locked in our next gig at Craft Brewery in Wānaka for November 14th. Pop the date in your calendar for Emergence II 🌸

For those who didn’t make it to the first Emergence last year, the idea behind it is to come together to emerge from the winter slumber into spring, and into the truest versions of ourselves. With an added layer of giving one emerging artist a platform to step out into the world of sharing their art.

Last year our emerging artist was Chris Stead and since then his DJ career has absolutely sky rocketed!!! He’s played at The Dancing Plant, Burning Man Project, Kiwiburn, Ignition just to name a few, and we couldn’t be more proud of him. 😍

Tickets will be released real soon 👀 Stay tuned to see who our emerging artist will be this year, plus full line-up and more info to come. We can’t wait!!! 🫶🏼

Just under two weeks to go… we are thrilled to introduce our headliners, Kon Faber .faber 🔥

Kon Faber are audiophile masters of their craft. The Berlin-based electronic live duo processes images, scenes and emotions from their immediate surroundings and combines those subjective impressions into energetic original productions that have been released on labels such as Kotori, Kamai, Rummel, Saisons and Rebellion der Träumer and reached No. 1 on the Beatport genre charts.

As a live act, the well-attuned team creates acoustic mosaics of cross-genre sound elements assembled with meticulous attention to detail. Synthesizers, percussions & vocals are fused in real time on stage to create a whole-body experience. Their auditory color palette ranges from rhythmic, bouncy organic house with lush basslines to energetic Indie Dance heaters.

Their early childhood contact with music as a means of self-expression continues to shape the two longtime friends to this day and is reflected in their influences of HipHop and Jazz. Their detachment from genre boundaries is also evident in the collaborative spirit of Kon Faber’s sound universe, which has produced synergy effects with renowned Jazz musicians and international vocalists.

The two have played tours in Mexico, Australia and New Zealand and have performed at international festivals and clubs in Amsterdam, Tunis, London, Milan and Berlin - always with an unmistakable signature of immersive dance experiences.

The boys will be treating us to a live set of immense quality and precision, eargasms galore 👂💦 who else is pumped for this one? 💥

Huge thanks as always to our wonderful hosts ♥️
