Pick up your free passport, come visit us, enjoy our special passport offer and collect your stamp while you’re here.

Time to travel the Bay, one brew at a time.
We’ve teamed up with 10 incredible local venues to bring you a free Beer Passport packed with special offers, stamps to collect and a proper excuse to get out and support the legends pouring great beer, cider and good times across the Bay.
Your mission:

Tauranga Taps has always been about bringing together good people, great beer, and building a stronger local craft beer community.

Now it's time to put your brewing skills where your mash tun is.

🏆 Introducing the Tauranga Taps Homebrew Competition 2026!

Have a recipe you've been perfecting? A beer your mates keep asking for? Here's your chance to take it from your garage to a commercial tap.

The winning brewer will:
🍻 Brew their beer commercially with Alchemy Street Brewing
🎤 Be recognised live at the Tauranga Taps Beer Festival
🍺 Potentially see their beer featured on taps around Tauranga

And the best part?

👨‍⚖️ Your beer will be judged by professional brewers from the breweries featured at the festival.

📝 Every entry receives feedback from working brewers, so whether you win or not, you'll walk away a better brewer.

For just $10 per entry, this could be the start of something special.
