Kia Ora Whanau,
Unfortunately, due to the current water issues affecting Ohakune, No.8 Restaurant & Bar will be closed today.
Without a water supply, we’re unable to operate safely, so we’ve made the decision to keep our doors closed until the issue is resolved.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding! 🤍
Please be advised that emergency toilets and bottled drinking-water collection points are available at the following locations across Ōhakune to help the community whilst the town water supply is being reinstated.

• Goldfinch Street / Shannon Street
• Ruapehu District Council Office – 38 Ayr Street
• Rear carpark of the Ōhakune i-SITE

• Moore Street – outside TOP 10 Holiday Park
Please keep empty 5l water bottles, and these can be refilled at the Council water tanker parked outside Ruapehu District Council Office – 38 Ayr Street
