Hi Folks due to the upcoming holiday season our next pub quiz in Dutch will be on Thursday the 27th of August the quiz on the 25th of June will not be going ahead!
The next pub quiz in English will be on Thursday the 9th of July....

Hi folks: This coming Thursday the 11th of June 20.00-22.00 is the second Thursday of the month, and therefore our Pub quiz in English presented by MC Irish question Mark, as you know our pub quizzes are usually full, this one is! and all tables are fully reserved!
A few enquiries have been made regarding the world cup football opening match between Mexico v South Africa kicking [email protected]! which is the first match of the world cup 2026 in Mexico the USA & Canada....

The quiz will be going ahead as usual and finishes at 22.00....
We will show the match on the T.V's with no sound, however the quiz takes precedent over the football so please bear in mind that all the tables are already reserved for the quiz.
We don't want to disappoint anyone so if this match is important to you please take appropriate action and arrange an alternative venue to watch the game...

We will be showing selected games for the world cup and announcing weekly, which games, here on facebook, but we will not be showing any games that kick off later than 23.00 which falls in line with our permitted licencing hours....

The football World cup 2026 from the U.S.A. Mexico and Canada starts on Thursday the 11th of June and runs until Sunday the 19th of July with the final kicking off at 21.00 CET
We will be showing games that fall within the normal opening times the pub licence dictates, we have to be empty and closed at 01.30AM, so will not be showing any games that kick off later than 23.00.....
I will publish the games we are showing on a daily basis on The White horse page...
Unfortunately all the initial Scottish games kick off too late....
The England games we are showing are:
England v Croatia kick off 22.00 Wednesday 17th of June
England v Garner kick off 22.00 Tuesday 23rd of June
Panama v England kick off 23.00 Saturday 27th of June
The Dutch games we are showing are:
Netherlands v Japan kick off 22.00 Sunday 14th of June
Netherlands v Sweden kick off 19.00 Saturday 20th of June

Unfortunately we will not be staying open late for Tunisia v The Netherlands on which kicks off at 01.00 on Friday the 26th of June...

This coming Saturday is the Champions league final live from Budapest at 18.00 P.S.G. v Arsenal live on the screens....
