This Friday, June 13, marks the final day of Growing Over, and we want to celebrate this milestone together with you.

šŸ—“ļø Date: Friday, June 13
šŸ“ Location: The Pool, Sectie-C
From 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we’ll host a dynamic panel discussion featuring designers from Sectie-C and other makers. We’ll explore the current challenges facing Eindhoven’s vibrant creative scene. Think about pressing topics like the disappearance of affordable studio spaces, the hardening of creative systems, and the crucial question of how to maintain ownership in our rapidly evolving city. Where are we headed as young makers? And how do we create space when it keeps shrinking?

Following the inspiring panel, you’re invited to join us for a wonderful dinner inside the exhibition space itself from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM!

Growing Over is a heartfelt tribute to young designers who are not merely responding to barriers but actively building new forms of ownership, value, and place within the design world.

Oswild is the musical universe crafted byĀ Guilain Delanoue, Trained as a classical musician, he later expanded into the world ofĀ electronic music, shaping a sound that blends dreamlike soundscapes, intricate rhythms, and ethereal melodies. With a sound that fusesĀ IDM, ambient, and experimental electronica, Oswild invites listeners into a world where reality and dreams intertwine.

Oswild’s music exploresĀ atmospheric depth, hypnotic beats, and emotional storytelling. Each track is a journey, sometimes soothing, sometimes haunting, but always immersive.

This Friday in hisĀ set, he will be fusing live violin with electronic sounds. Join us this for this evening as he blurs the line between organic and synthetic sound.

Check out the programme for the other performances.
The evening is free and open for everyone to attend.

Amidst austerity and cultural spaces disappearing, ā€˜Ghost Town’ follows a group of street animals wrestling to keep their music scene alive. Inspired by a protest song sharing the same name, the puppet show uncovers its continued relevance today.

Many bats is a performing arts collective organising small scale theatre productions that centre participation and collaboration. With each show, the collective invites different creatives and spaces to unearth tales of people power.

Tanguy is an artist working with collective practices. Through animal representation, he explored narratives that aim to engage political reflection, as well as to create a space for participation, sharing and debate.

For this performance they will also collaborate with Ilse van Dijk. Ilse takes analogue mechanisms and turns them into instruments, to create bizarre and haunting live performances.

Check out the programme for the other performances on Friday.
The evening is free and open for everyone to attend.

As part of Growing Over, the exhibition will come to life with an evening of live performance, music and storytelling.

Loes Gofers, an artist from Tilburg, explores various themes within her artistic practice. She is strongly driven by the study of boundaries: how they are sought, crossed, and shifted. In doing so, she examines the relationship between material, environment, the activation of it, and examines her position within this. She is curious about the longevity of the physical, both within the material and in the performative, and fluctuates regularly in this. She investigates this through actions, routines, and their repetition. She involves not only herself, but also her environment, striving for a mutual dialogue between her, action, and space.

This Friday, she will once again explore her boundaries through a physical performance using water as a material.

🌱 Growing Over:
Open Day & Lino Print Workshop
Sunday, June 1st
Opening 13:00–18:00
Workshop 14:30-17:00

As part of Growing Over, we’re opening the doors again this Sunday for a day of making, exchanging, and connecting.

Alongside the exhibition, you’re invited to join a drop-in lino printing workshop. A chill day to relax together, share ideas and conversations as you create your own re-printable design or drawing. Bring old items of clothing, textile, something forgotten or something needing new life. Together we’ll carve prints to transform what’s been overlooked into something renewed, personal, and shared.

Whether you’re carving your first lino or just passing through, come take part in a collective gesture of care and reimagining.
