New clay and glaze combo 🤍🤎

I often use a speckled white clay, but I wanted to switch it up a bit and add something different to my collection. This is a black clay, glazed with a white glaze. I love the brown colour touches it creates especially on the rim. What do you think? :-)

Tested some different glazes on mugs with a checkered pattern. I used to make the pattern on a different, more neat way, but I do like the more playfull look of the pattern. The glaze in this picture is a bit too transparant in my opinion but I found a more opaque one :-)
