When Camtrao visited Tokyo, and ended up at a local jazz bar in Shimokitazawa, two Japanese gentlemen sitting next to him started offering sake. Because of the language barrier, they could only communicate through music, sake and shouting “Kanpai”. 15 “Kanpai’s” later Camtrao felt the true meaning of Japanese hospitality and sympathy. ed to recreate this sense of generosity and amiability back in his hometown of Amsterdam. Emoji, visuals, sake and vibing tunes all on the same wavelength. They all come together on this Japanesque night, hosted by Camtrao himself and his friends who provide a mix of housy, soulful and electronic styles. The sake is warm, and it’s on us tonight, Kanpai!
