If you are in Oaxaca city and would be interested in a hike up to a beautiful spot, showcasing mezcal production send us a DM!
From this venue there are views over the city, and towards the archeological site of Monte Alban. Although they aren’t making mezcal currently, we can talk through iconic elements of the process, from species of agave, pit oven, tahona and clay pot stills. They work with mezcaleros in Matatlan to produce their house brand Yaya Mezcal - which we can sip overlooking the city. Or brooks can shake into some refreshing post-hike cocktails…

Fun day helping kick-off our friend Praveen’s birthday trip here in Oaxaca. His wife Naga came on a tour with her girlfriends last year and now they have brought more friends!Tasting some fresh puntas off the still is the way to acclimate after travel.
