We at Porto Azzurro Aparthotel are looking to recruit a Head Chef.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and food presentation. They will supervise kitchen staff, ensure food quality and safety standards, and manage inventory and costs.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Experience in menu planning and recipe creation
- Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a similar role in hotels is preferred
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus

We at Porto Azzurro Aparthotel are looking to recruit an Accounts & Debtors Clerk. The person will be responsible for Debtors chasing and other duties as needed to support the Finance Manager and the Finance Team.

Responsibilities:
• Chasing Debtors & Posting Payments
• Verifying and posting supplier invoices
• Responsible for billing and addressing billing inquiries
• Reconciling supplier statements to prepare for monthly payments
• Managing Hotel Daily cash and petty cash, including entering journal entries into the accounting system (Shireburn Financial Manager)
• Assisting with various daily accounting duties
• Assist the Finance Manager for audit process

Requirements:
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent level of English language.
• Experience in the use of Shireburn Financial Manager (accounting system) will be considered an asset.
• Enthusiastic team player
• Experience using the Microsoft Office and basic understanding of Hotel Systems
