If you’re in Paris this summer, don’t miss this…

I visited the Olympic Cauldron twice in one evening. First, I wandered through the Jardin des Tuileries before it closed, then I watched it rise above the trees from a nearby bridge just after sunset. Seeing it slowly float into the evening sky was really beautiful, but it’s equally beautiful during the day.

If you’re visiting Paris this summer, don’t miss it. It’s free to see, rises after sunset (weather permitting), and is only here through September 14.

The cutest summer dress 🩵. I’ve been getting so many of my summer dresses from Commense lately because they’re fashion-forward, travel well, and don’t cost a fortune.

This light blue cut out maxi dress is one of my favorites. It’s lightweight, and looks much more expensive than it is. Make sure to size down. I’m wearing a medium and wish I had gotten it in a small.

If you’re visiting Chicago with kids, you need to check out Color Factory • Exhibit - this was my kids’ favorite stop on our trip. Every room at the Color Factory was bursting with interactive art, confetti, and laughter (and yes, treats!). My favorite souvenir from Paris 🇫🇷

Earlier this spring, I stopped in the Boutique near the Tuileries Garden and Louvre Museum to see the viral engraved lipstick in person, and it completely lived up to the hype.

The team was so warm and welcoming. They walked me through all the beautiful lipstick cases and lipstick colors to choose from, including the special edition designs, and helped me customize one that felt really personal for me. I chose the 510 red color, which they said is their most popular color.

The part I didn’t expect was getting to experience their history of Guerlain as a perfumery. They gave me a sample of one of their original scents created for Napoleon’s wife over 200 years ago. It felt like stepping into a piece of Parisian heritage.

If you are in Paris and want something special to bring home, this is such a memorable experience. I also went to the Guerlain at Galeries Lafayette to get one for my friend, but I did prefer the boutique over the department store stand.
