With the ringing of a bell, a mysterious hand offering tea, and a ceremonial welcome from Dilmah Chairman and Teamaker Dilhan C. Fernando, we launched our first Dilmah Urban Estate: a space distinctly of the now and a tea experience of the highest criterion, yet dreaming always of the hillcountry charm, the character, and the heritage rooted deep, deep down. All in the presence of Dilmah family (nuclear and extended), media, and friends both local and international - including our franchise partners from Malaysia, who are spearheading another ambitious project on the horizon, soon to be revealed.
Among the evening's highlights, Dilhan C. Fernando presented a tea appreciation teaser to christen Windsor Forest, the tearoom's flagship range - celebrating the high green heritage and the distinctive, incomparable breath of its origin, experienced exclusively at Urban Estate. Remember the name: Dilmah Urban Estate. A destination where tea is experienced not just by taste, but by the hum of the atmosphere, the liquid geometries of flavour, the histories of the tea-forming loam, and the very craftsmanship that binds the terroir to the tongue.
Dilmah Urban Estate is now open at One Galle Face Mall, L1-20, immediately on the right before the seaside entrance.
