Kaapang We are a bunch of people who 'live to eat'. We love discovering new places in the city and making recommendations to food lovers in Colombo.

We started Kaapang as a platform for us to share our favourite dishes in the city with our fans and followers. We don't recommend restaurants as a whole, just signature dishes that we really enjoyed at a particular eating establishment be it a restaurant, cafe, bistro, pizzeria or pub. We love our food, we love to eat and we have traveled to quite a lot of countries around the world and have a dis

cerning palate. Therefore we will try as much as possible to rate our experiences based on the types of cuisines that we've been exposed to. If we eat something we are not particularly happy with, you won't hear about it from us. This page is dedicated to 'the best dishes' in the city. Kombucha has several benefits like being a probiotic full of antioxidants, and is a great substitute for calorie filled juices and cocktails.

We love this particular brand of kombucha made by and it is available in a range of flavours.

Our favourites are Ginger, Ceylon Green & Ceylon Blend.

A perfectly executed Chicken Schnitzel served with truffle mashed potatoes, green beans and a Dijon mustard sauce!

We were lucky enough to sample it as it was on their Christmas brunch menu but we hope that considers adding the schnitzel to their regular menu.

We discovered last year and they always deliver the tastiest eclairs with custard filling. The choux pastry is soft and even once refrigerated it doesn’t lose its texture. It’s no surprise that our favourite is the coffee eclair!
