Spending more and more time in Nairobi to be with his grandson, retired Rear Admiral Arogundade found himself missing his favourite Nigerian delicacies while in the city. After searching high and low and not finding Nigerian Cuisine that sated his appetite, he decided to start a special little place where he could enjoy the meals of his childhood and continue to spend more time with his only grand

son who fondly refers to him as Mummydada! Mummydada's is an authentic Nigerian restaurant that introduces the traditional & contemporary dishes and delicacies of Nigeria to Nairobi. Recipes are created with the freshest ingredients by our Nigerian chefs. We also offer select Kenyan & continental cuisine sourced & prepared from choice local produce...all served in our peaceful outdoor garden or cosy inside dining area. As day turns to night our bar becomes a central focus of the restaurant with the option of the bustling regular bar or the more intimate champagne bar.
