it is with deep regret to inform you that Tembo Disco's OLDEST MEMBER and my dear friend, Mr. ENRICO VALENTINO HAFEN has passed away on monday at his residence at Bombolulu.
his passing came only two days before his 85th birthday.
he was a regular patron at Tembo since the opening days.
all who knew him and his lively and joyful character will surely miss him.
may his soul rest in enternal peace.

Dear friends of TEMBO DISCO.
The Final Curtain has fallen and an era in Entertainment History has come to an end.
Those who attended the last party on Saturday experienced both .... a phantastic Dance Party and a very emotional Kwa Heri to Tembo Disco!
I was touched down deep inside my heart to see how many of the people attending showed their deepest emotions and sadness about the closing of Tembo.
Many tears were shed that evening by Friends of Tembo, Tembo Staff, Tembo Members and Tembo Patrons.
I would like to again thank You All for Your support throughout the last 16 years.
i will keep you updated about any further developments about a new place and hopefully very soon we can all meet again in a NEW TEMBO.
Until then LOLLIPOP MTWAPA remains in full operation ... 7 days a week from 9pm.

Dear friends of TEMBO DISCO MOMBASA,
it is with deepest regrets and lots of pain in my heart, that i have to announce that after providing Kenyans and International Visitors to Kenya for 16years with High Quality Entertainment, the Final Curtain will be falling for one of... East Africas largest and most recognized Entertainment Centres.
Tembo Disco will continue operating ONLY for another 5 weekends and will cease its operations after the last party on Sato, 5th June 2012.
i would like to thank all our friends, members and esteemed patrons for the support they gave Tembo for the last 16 years ...ASANTE SANA.
So make sure you come and party on the last 5 weekends to come .... be part of Kenyan Entertainment History and say .....I WAS THERE .....I WAS PART OF IT!
Up to the Final Party on 2nd June, Tembo Disco will still be open every Friday and Saturday.
Bavaria Beer Garden and Lollipop will also be operating every day EXCEPT on Mondays.
LOLLIPOP MTWAPA will continue as usual .....7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 9pm to 5am.
However Sad the matter is ...... where there is an ending there's always also a new beginning! Tembo is not out of the picture ..... as we are looking for new premises for a new Tembo Disco and many more Lollipops....so until then, thanks again and take care of yourselves!
