A family in Kitale is seeking justice after Timothy Kwemoi, a boda boda rider, was reportedly murdered by thugs in Gatua near Kitale Wool Shop while delivering a customer.

According to the family, Timothy was simply doing his job when the situation escalated into a deadly attack. He had worked hard throughout the day and was carrying only his phone and the little money he had earned before his life was tragically cut short.

His death has left a family without a father, while those responsible remain at large. The family is now appealing for justice and calling on anyone with information about the incident to assist authorities in identifying those responsible.

The incident is also a painful reminder to boda boda riders to remain extra cautious, especially when carrying customers at night. Riders are encouraged to confirm payment arrangements, avoid unnecessary waiting at unfamiliar locations and remain alert throughout every trip.

Customers also have a responsibility to help keep riders safe. If you live in an apartment or gated compound, make sure the gate is opened before the rider arrives so they do not have to wait outside for long.

Timothy's family is grieving the loss of a father who was simply trying to earn a living. May justice be served.

BREAKING: SAMBURU HELICOPTER CRASH UPDATE

Seven people, including the pilot, have been confirmed dead after a helicopter crashed at Shabashi Hills near Mt. Ololokwe in Samburu East.

According to a preliminary police report from Archers Post Police Station, the aircraft, identified by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) as a Eurocopter EC130 B4 model of Registration No. 5Y-GYM, was flying from Loisaba Conservancy to Ewasonyiro when it crashed.

The deceased have been identified as:

Josh Outran — Pilot
Roger Duarte
Adam Navaty
Stephen Vascanknez
Henry Parra
Michael Contugi
Suian Suarez

The aircraft was extensively destroyed by the crash and subsequent fire. Local morans, Kenya Red Cross personnel and other responders took part in the recovery operation, despite the challenging terrain around the crash site. Authorities are continuing with recovery and investigations into the cause of the crash.

I condemn, without reservation, the use of our young sons and daughters to propagate violent attacks in Homa Bay, in a bid to stop Linda Mwananchi from conducting their series of rallies. I equally condemn, in the strongest terms, the assault on journalists Fred Ooko and Brian Ongoro of AFP, who were attacked and had their equipment destroyed simply for doing their jobs. An attack on the press is an attack on every Kenyan's right to know. Attacking a political convoy is an attack on the right of every Kenyan to move, assemble, and associate freely – rights our Constitution guarantees and that too many of our people have paid for in blood.As a leader born in a political family, and conscious of the history of our country, I cannot help but see a dangerous pattern in Luo Nyanza, where a region whose sons and daughters paid the ultimate price for us to get democracy has turned around and is now being used to stifle the very democracy those before us fought so hard for. Who is keen on dividing us? Who stands to benefit?

A heartbreaking tragedy has struck a family in Kitale after a groom-to-be identified as Victor died in a road accident just hours before his planned pre-wedding ceremony. 💔🕊️

Victor and his fiancée, Betty, were reportedly travelling home on a motorcycle the night before the ceremony when they were involved in an accident at Sinendeet.

Victor suffered serious injuries and sadly succumbed before he could attend the ceremony that he and Betty had been looking forward to with their families and friends.

What was supposed to be a day filled with happiness, celebration and the beginning of a new chapter suddenly turned into a day of mourning.

Betty, who was also on the motorcycle, survived the crash but sustained serious injuries. She is currently receiving treatment at St John's Hospital in Sirende and is reported to be in critical condition. 🙏

The exact circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear, and investigations are expected to establish what happened.

A celebration that was meant to unite two families has instead left them facing an unimaginable loss.

This GUY had a wife, he had MONEY flowing, he had completed his HOUSE, and was planning to settle in with his FAMILY before the AC!D incident happened. Now, after all he had done, he ended up connecting himself to SAYUNI, leaving his YOUNG family without a FATHER FIGURE for the rest of their lives, and a house that he will only enter when he is no longer alive. The guy was D£PRESSED to the extent that he was unable to contain it. But pia sometimes, men go through a lot and no one cares; mwanaume UKIUMIA wanasema ni W£AKNESS. Hatukatai alikuwa amependa CLARE while having a family, but why accept his OFFER knowing you will NEVER settle with him? How can someone INVEST that much and then, after making it, you decide to end it?
Anyway, that's how society has grown. We have to endure. Anyway, Elvis, RIP!
