Really enjoyed this wine! Deep flavor and complex. A bled of Petit Manseng, Roussanne,Malvasia & Trebbiano.
Such a treat to get outside the box on a Toscano Bianco.
Fermented & aged in big oak cask for longevity. Slightly darker color with yeast aromas… toasty Brioche. On the palate comes Mandarin skins with some stone fruits, really well done. The finish goes on & on. The Petit Manseng is normally a late harvest grape but picking only a week or so after ripened, while the skins are still thick and firm, gave this wine its depth.
I will do my best to talk the winery out some cases for you guys. Keep you posted.
