Step Up The Dance Club of SCMS! “Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are great because of their passion.” - Martha Gram.

The "Step Up" ideology is to truly believe that there is an inborn dancer in each and every one of us and we want to extract this hidden talent in you. So, no matter how good or bad a dancer you are, you belong here. This club is for every passionate and enthusiastic member of SCMS. Our journey began in 2009, when we were established as a special interest group. Since then, there has been no looki

ng back. We have represented our college in various events and fests and have won several accolades. We also conduct events, activities and workshops on campus and plan on collaborating with other clubs during this academic year. New fitness centric and popular dance styles workshops will be organized. We will take "Step Up" to the next level through regular crew rehearsals as we aim to participate in more events than ever before. Dance has the amazing ability to inculcate qualities like confidence, discipline, teamwork, charisma, stage presence, creativity, etc. "Step Up" provides the ideal platform for every student in this college to develop these essential life skills and you can do that while having a blast! "Step Up" is the complete package – With fun & frolic and a dash of learning. We have an amazing year planned and we wish with all our heart that you would be a part of the "Step Up" experience.
