Tonight we have Australian singer-songwriter Luke Marshal taking over Hideaway's instagram and playing his music and talking about his influences. Luke was supposed to be on tour in India in April and was scheduled to play at Hideaway until the pandemic changed our plans.

Drawing on emotions, nature’s beauty and experiences his music can be best described as dreamy alternative folk. Born in Central Australia and growing up in a coastal town, there has always been a strong connection with the land and sea. Having a natural understanding of how powerful sounds and words can be, songwriting became a way to express emotion and process the world around him.

Luke goes live at 7 pm sharp. Tune in.

We've been privileged to host some absolutely incredible musicians over the last 7 months at Hideaway. Musicians we couldnt dream of listening to in Goa forget at our own bar. Sometimes we literally have to pinch ourselves while we are serving behind the bar and we watch madness unfold on the stage. We will be pinching ourselves all through Monday as Monoswezi take to our stage.
Bands like this make all the work, stress and tired limbs worthwhile. We promise this will be memorable.

We're excited to host two talented acts who will be playing for the first time in Goa and exclusively at Hideaway this Friday night.

Swati and Suyash are a Delhi based contemporary jazz/pop duo, who has been playing together since two years. Inspired by a variety of styles, sounds, concepts and influences like jazz, latin and brazilian music, they have their own take on some famous tunes and standards including some of their original songs.

Mali (aka Maalavika Manoj) is a Mumbai-based folk and country singer/songwriter. Mali tells personal stories through her music, finding unconventional yet relatable topics to write about. From the release of her debut EP Rush (2017) to the singles Play (2018) and Mango Showers (2019), Mali’s sound has evolved from a lighter, more organic sound to a darker more intricately produced one. She has performed extensively at festivals and venues across the country and her singles and albums have released to national acclaim in the indie circuit.
