Cafe Morrison, South Ex - II, New Delhi A Mecca for those who were born to Rock, to love great food and ice cold beer! It was the summer of 2005. He called up Aneesh, and then both of them called me.

Sidharth wanted to start a place which will eventually become the Mecca of rock music. We sat down and thought of a place that will be unpretentious and thrive on people, and their genuine love for music. We started believing in a dream. On 8th of May, 2005, New Delhi, Café Morrison opened its doors to everyone who loved music. They all started coming in. And they came back again, this time with their friends. Two months down the line, we gave them Pin Drop Violence. Café Morrison erupted into a volcanic mosh pit. Our belief was vindicated. We were not the only ones in this journey. There were other believers in Café Morrison too. Gigs, bands, people, us – everything became one with each other. In 2007, Jack Daniels awarded us the trophy for the best venue for live gigs in India. We headlined news, we gave interviews, we signed deals, and we became big, but not bigger than our belief. Today when you walk in to Café Morrison, Sidharth will be usually behind the console, Aneesh will be close to the bar counter on the left side, sipping his drink and talking to people, while I will be on the right looking at our tribe. And thinking is it for real? Café Morrison is not just a business for us. Before that it is what we set out to do. It is our belief. Aayush
