Laurence Bolger, the creator of Rawky is a husband, new dad, sports enthusiast (sometimes he even participates), business man and a food lover! After years of working in the food industry in Ireland and the Middle East, he decided to shake things up personally and professionally. Over the years working with food he had become more and more conscious of what was going into his own body. However, li
ke lots of people sometimes work took over every waking hour so quick options often unhealthy had become all too regular. So the first part of the shake up brought good healthy, breakfasts, lunches and dinners. He felt a huge improvement in his health and his energy levels. But still for those in between times, mid-mornings, late afternoons, after exercise, during exercise or just general hunger cravings, he couldn’t find any truly healthy snacks. So he decided to make his own, how hard could it be?! After lots of research and experimentation (his poor wife) the first Rawky bars were born. They quickly became popular with family and friends to the point he was getting orders and he couldn’t keep up. Que shake up Part two, was there enough interest to go commercial and could the bars still be as good and healthy? Back to drawing board and the answer was obvious, the very reasons he made the bar in first place are the reasons that it can be produced just as healthily and additive free. Using the right natural ingredients means the bars naturally have a long shelf life.
