Location

The Enniscorthy Blackstairs Blues Festival guarantees all locals and visitors an exciting musical weekend each September in a beautiful historical town of the South East of Ireland. Our Blues weekend generates an open and friendly atmosphere in a town which is famous from being the beating heart of music festivals in Ireland. The festival draws its name from the Blackstairs Mountain Range which lies west of Enniscorthy and overlooks the beautiful fertile green landscape of County Wexford. The town is centrally located within an hour of Dublin and 30 mins from Rosslare Port. Venues

Our Blues bands perform in the many fine music venues that vary in size from the intimate and traditional to the more modern and spacious which are located on either side of River Slaney. All performances over the weekend are free of charge and comprise of early and late gigs, jam sessions, workshops & Bluez 4 Skoolz. Artists

Over the past 28 years, the Blackstairs Blues Festival has attracted the cream of local and international blues bands and solo artists entertaining us with the broadest spectrum of Blues from the Delta to Chicago. Accommodation
