Paint in a Pub

Paint in a Pub Paint in a Pub is a monthly painting class in Dublin city centre. Paint in a Pub is a painting class on in a Dublin pub once a month. See you soon :)

Anita Foley, teacher and artist teaches the class and is an expert in watercolours. We mostly paint scenic watercolours and we try to keep the theme seasonal. The class is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon, relax and pick up a new, fun hobby. Come along to the two hour class for just €10. Grab a pint and paintbrush and have some fun! All materials are supplied, and you will recieve handouts so you can try the paintings again at home.

I just noted a few minutes ago that February 1st is Saint Brigid's Day. I remember the wonderful book I promoted a couple of years ago, "Saint Brigid's Cloak" - which contains a portion narrated by Maureen O'Hara and adapted to a children's book by Dublin school teacher, Gabrielle Bean Ui Dhomhnaill. I will call her later today and get further ordering information in case any of our page visitors would like to order the book. It has illustrated pages, of course, but also a CD in the jacket with the audio of Maureen's reciting the story. You'll LOVE it! (One half of the book is printed in English with Maureen narrating, and the other side is printed in Gaelic and narrated by Eanne Ni Lamhna.
