📣McPhails Back in the day 📣
This bank holiday Sunday we are throwing the ultimate back in the day party. We remember one of Droghedas truely great pubs ,Mcphails and celebrate everything that was great about it and Drogheda back in the day.
If you where a regular,staff or played in a band we welcome you down to see faces you might not have seen in years,catch up and listen to the music that made Mcphails the night out place.
🎤We kick the day off with the band that played nearly every Thursday “The Enemies “. Ronan and the lads are in our roof garden from 5pm hopefully recreating some of beer garden in Mcphails vibes(sun in the sky,pint bottle in hand).
🍺From 6 in the pub one of the original Mcphails djs Dom Wilton is going to play all that 90s sound from the Stone Roses ,The Smiths ,Steely Dan ,Beck , Radiohead and everything else.
💿Then from 8.30 Hal takes over and will try bring back the sound of those legendary nights of Big Gen ,Electric Avenue or Bluemoose. Definitely songs from Nirvana ,Blink 182, Green Day ,Sum 41,Weezer , The Chillis and Paolo Nutini
So if you where part of Mcphails back in the day,come dance ,chat, drink and most importantly celebrate how lucky we where to have been a part of its legend🖤
