The AGM of The Wayside Players will take place on Tuesday 19 May at 8 pm in The Parish Hall, Blackwater. Anyone interested in getting involved or have any interest in any aspect of community theatre are cordially invited to attend.🎭

It’s almost show time.
🌟🎭.

Wayside Players are hitting the stage over this weekend and next with their presentation of “The Maiden Aunt” by Jimmy Keary. Full details are set out in the poster below …. First performance is this coming Saturday …. 7th February 2026…. Curtains up at 8.00 pm. Performance on Sunday 8th February 2026 is at the earlier time of 6.00 pm.

And the following weekend performances are on Friday 13th and Saturday 14 February 2026, commencing at 8.00 pm on both evenings.

Doors open half hour in advance of show time and tickets on the door.

This side-splitting comedy is suitable for all the family so please come out and support the cast and crew who have been working hard over the last few weeks rehearsing and putting the final touches to the production and it would be great to see you all there to support in Blackwater Parish Hall…… Wayside are delighted to support by way of contribution to The Irish Cancer Society and Spina Bifida. Your support is much appreciated.
