🍻 The wait is finally over… Cannons Bar is back! 🍻
It’s been a long road, but we’re delighted to finally open the doors and welcome everyone back to Cannons Bar.
This beautiful little gem has been closed for 37 years, and we can’t wait to see it full of life, laughter, great conversation, and perfectly poured pints once again.
We’re kicking things off with a series of soft openings as we put the finishing touches in place. While we’re open and ready to welcome you, there are still a few small details being completed before we celebrate with an official opening ceremony in the coming weeks.
Please don’t be disappointed if you can’t get in straight away. We have seating for around 40 people, along with a small standing area. For the first few nights, we’ll have staff on the door to help manage numbers and make sure everyone has the best possible experience.
Opening Hours
Thursday: 3:00pm – 11:30pm�Friday: 3:00pm – 12:30am�Saturday: 3:00pm – 12:30am�Every other Sunday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Closed every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, although private events are always welcome—just get in touch.
Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this special project back to life. From the tradespeople and suppliers to our friends, family, supporters, and everyone who encouraged us along the way—we couldn’t have done it without you.
Now all that’s left to do is pull a pint, open the doors, and welcome you all back.
Here’s to the next chapter of Cannons Bar. 🍀🍺

Bar Manager Opportunity – Cannons Bar, Castlebar

Applications are now being accepted for a Bar Manager position for the highly anticipated reopening of Cannons Bar this summer.

Due to strong interest, we will be conducting interviews in Castlebar in early April.

Requirements:
• Previous bar management experience is essential
• A high-energy, friendly individual with strong leadership skills
• Ability to run an efficient and well-organised bar operation
• Professional attitude
