What a week! 🎉🍻

As the curtain falls on the 50th Burtonport Festival, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who called into Jimmy Johnnys throughout the week. Your support, laughter and great craic made it another festival to remember.

It was an incredible week for Team Jimmy Johnnys with plenty to celebrate:
👑 Abbey was crowned Festival Queen.
🏆 Team Jimmy Johnnys took home the Knockout Competition title.
🎣 Seamus landed the win in the Fishing Competition.
💪 Seamus & co. came out on top in the Tug of War.

And finally, the main event…
the heir to the Jimmy Johnnys dynasty, Jamie, finally put a ring on it and Katie said YES! 💍💍Congratulations to you both—we’re delighted for you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together. We reckon that was the biggest win of the whole festival!

A massive thank you also goes to the Burtonport Festival Committee, who work tirelessly all year round to organise such a fantastic programme of events. Your hard work, dedication and commitment to the community make the festival what it is, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

Here’s to 50 amazing years of the Burtonport Festival—and many more to come! Until next year… 🍻🎶🎊

🏆ANOTHER WIN FOR TEAM JIMMY JOHNNY 🏆

We’re sure everyone has heard already as he might have mentioned it a couple of times but for those who didn’t hear yet - Seamus won not only the fishing competition but also the tug of war! 🏆

He was delighted to beat his baby brother Christopher in the final of the tug of war (the subject is a little touchy with Chris)

Seen as Seamus loves the attention make sure and mention it to him if you see him!

It’s Festival time again folks 🎉
We look forward to welcoming old and new friends in to celebrate the 50th Burtonport Festival!

☀️We hope the good weather holds out so that everyone can make the most of the fantastic line up of events that the committee has put so much effort into organising this year! ☀️

💵As usual (CASH IS KING) please have cash with you as the cash machine can be unreliable and we don’t want anyone going thirsty! 💵

Join us tonight at 09:30 for the first heat of “How well do you know your partner” it’s sure to be a good laugh and hopefully no one ends up in the 🐶 house after it
