It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that The Broken Jug will be closing today. We have had a great time over the past few months and I want to thank my family and friends who have supported me on my journey from start to finish.
I want to say a special thanks to all our lovely customers who have dined with us over the last few months, we have enjoyed listening to all your stories after a few drinks in the Jug.
Our time was short but sweet.
I reluctantly have made the difficult decision to close The Jug due to staff shortages. My aim of building a team of chefs to run my kitchen sadly did not work out the way I would have liked. For those of you in the industry, you will understand how hard it is to find employees in this current climate.
I have learned a lot from this experience that will stand to me in good stead for my future adventures.
I will be closing the Big Oak Doors for one last time tonight, Saturday 5th of November, so call in for old times sake.
